The Perfect Road Trip Playlist

I’ve almost finished my road trip playlist. It errs heavily on the side of American tunes because my taste in Aussie Indie and Alternative music does not compute with Mr M.

I find that in order to keep the driver and passengers awake they have to at least be able to recognise the songs. Except then I started thinking of all of my favourite Australian songs and maybe it’s slightly more even country-wise than I thought. What’s a road trip without some You Am I and INXS?

  1. So many of my favourites in that list, most notably Mr Jones, 500 miles and anything by the Barenaked Ladies gets my vote! I think I need to take a road trip just so I can listen to these tunes!

  2. Our current road trip playlist is Parov Stelar and Avicii, with the occasional Jamie Berry or Fritz and the Tantrums thrown in….However I’m instructed not to sing, and definitely not to dance….

    1. What fun is that? It’s imperative that you sing at the top of your lungs and car dance like a fiend! On my authority 🙂
